POEME ROMÂNESTI ÎN LIMBI STRĂINE

Ioan Vintilă FINTIS

The radiation of the cube
(fragments)

IV
Two tears and the light which decomposes the sadness.
Testaments and butterflies – maybe the cube smashed
by the water comprised within it, framing together
musical structures of light.

A vast reverberation – the waves that pass
and leave behind only a song keeping within
their shape

V
I kneel on the cube
    I embrace the prayers
With the beam of your forehead’s light, Lord.

There is an inner field that the absence
is endlessly sowing with verbs.

Up to the moment when the woman on the hill
With the shivering temple is giving life to the beloved child.

VI
Oh, sea of light, where are
the joys of the sailors angels?
Where can the sadness of trawls be found
in this grammar of solitude –
Life?
